Went to the taping of The View yesterday. I signed up for these tickets a year or two ago. I totally forgot about it until I saw the tickets in the mail.  Paula Abdul was guest host, Glenn Close and Fan Yang from the Gazillion Bubbles Show ( first time hearing about this show) were the guests.

Of course, the best part of the show are the FREEBIES.  25,000 points from American Airlines, good to go anywhere in the continental US, plus two tickets to the Gazillion Bubbles Show.  Vacation here I come.

We got cookies, drinks and a tote bag.  The ladies of The View were so nice.  They talk to us during commerical and Elisabeth Hasselbeck is very pretty in person.  Barbara Walters, as always is amazing.  Joy Behar funny, funny woman.  Paula Abdul is cute.  Playing her old songs, memories of 6th grade.  What can I say, simply an awesome morning. 

Cindarella almost missed it. 

The day before went to a Yankees game.  My manager gave me these awesome seats.  Score tickets to the US Open.   Can't wait.  I love tennis !!!!

 

 

Two people got fired from my company within a two week time span.  One of the guy that was let go was someone I enjoy talking and he was a member of my team.  I remember interviewing him and I truly felt that he would be a great asset to the team.  It's a plus he is from my alma mater. He got fired based on a bad moral judgement.  I still chat with him on IM and he tells me how much he misses the team.

Well, I definitely started going to work much earlier.  I use to stroll to work around 8:45 to 9AM.  NOW, I am at my desk latest 8:30AM.

This leads me to thinking, did these people get fired based on performance or on personality?

My dee dee turn 27 last week.  I still remember when we were kids he used to make me play GI JOE with him. Of course I was the bad guy and he was the good guy.  When I get mad at him, I would disfigured the GI JOE by separating the head from the body.  He would cry, tell my mother and then I end up getting the spanky

What can I get him for his birthday? He's a Mets fan but has a jersey.  Got him a video ipod for Christmas.
It's so hard to get presents for people....

Can you believe half the year is over???? Time goes by so fast.  So this morning at work at my desk I overheard one of the guys sitting behind me asking if anyone knew why we celebrate July 4th and where did we get our independence from (Britain by the way).  I don't know why he pop a question like that out of no where while people where in the middle of talking trades and stuff.  He was upset that apparently and sadly, most people don't know why we celebrate this holiday other than we get a day off from work.    Oh, don't forget the sales too. ( I went shopping at Jersey Garden in the morning ). I don't know who the guy from the back asked but it's definitely time to open up that 5th grade history book and refresh your memory.

Yesterday, went down to South Street Seaport to watch the July 4th fire works.  My favorite firework was the smiley face and the first thing that pop up in my mind was Walmart with the smiley face jumping around the store.  I know its silly.

I am coughing in the middle of summer.  What's wrong with me????  Someone please bring me some codeine..
